Happy feet, merry days, gypsy soul–that’s me!

I write, have fun and take pictures, make videos and like to go to places where no man has gone, but it doesn’t happen too often.

Born out of passion to find places where people break their shackles and come back with renewed enthusiasm, A Traveller’s Wish List was  started in 2014. The blog takes a 360º view of travel covering both business and leisure verticals, talks about food and culture, has product reviews and some lifestyle elements such as spas and accessories like bags, shoes, sunshades, cameras, phones and even automobiles.

Having spent more than two decades in the world of journalism, I have worked with and written for prominent publications such as Swagat, Outlook Traveller, Life Positive and Harmony. I also ran a publishing house for many years, bringing out a magazine Training & Management. I have edited books and coffee table books too (100 Legal Luminaries of India). I was the project editor for a coffee table book (The India Drive) for the Outlook Group. During this journey, I discovered storytelling is the best way to reach out to the world, and that’s the experience I translate into weaving experiential travelogues and stories through the digital medium now.

I also pen stories US-based blogging platform I also freelance for various newspapers and magazines such as Patriot, Exotica, Dialogue (magazine for Delhi Airport), Mail Today, Femina, Spice Route magazine and The Hindu. And I am always on the lookout for more places to write.
