I am a journalist, editor, writer, author of illustrated books for children, blogger, photographer and videographer, working on becoming a documentary maker, podcaster and YouTuber
What is this blog about?
I started my journalism journey in 1999. And I started my blogging journey in 2012 with a couple of acquaintances. Then I went on my own, and started a blog called Cum Alive on blogspot in 2013. I migrated it to A Traveller’s Wish List on WordPress in 2014.
After a decade-long learning and practising, I renamed it Queen of Treasures. As I evolved physically, mentally and spiritually, the name evolved accordingly. I realised that our planet Earth had given us so much to treasure. I began penning and picturising this treasure on the blog, happy to have found my roots.
The blog is all about good times, good things, good places, good people and good health. It’s about everything that creates happy memories. You will find posts related to travel, arts & culture, environment, nature, books, fiction, my published articles and more.
We focus on all things that make Mother Earth and Us happy, and create a harmonious balance.
My Journalism Journey
I have worked in prominent media houses in India as a senior editor in renowned magazines–Life Positive, Swagat (Air India’s inflight magazine), Outlook Traveller, The New Indian Express. I have written for Special Projects compendiums for Dalal Street Investment Journal, single-handedly executed 3 coffee table books on CSR for the Outlook Group.
