Your experience is a story. Let’s help you tell it.
Have you walked through a forest searching for signs of a tiger? Discovered a little-known cultural tradition? Found a place that changed your perspective? Met someone whose story stayed with you? Or simply had an adventure too good to keep to yourself?
Queen of Treasures welcomes compelling guest stories from travellers, photographers, nature lovers, writers, culture enthusiasts and curious explorers.
You don’t have to be a professional writer. You bring the experience; we can help you shape the story.
What We Love
We are especially interested in stories with a strong sense of place, discovery or personal experience, including:
- Travel & Photography — journeys, unusual encounters, hidden places and visual stories
- Culture & Heritage — traditions, people, food, festivals, arts and forgotten histories
- Global Perspectives — world affairs, society, geopolitics, social change and personal perspectives on a changing world
- Wildlife & Nature — encounters, conservation, birding and experiences in the wild
- Books, Arts & Creativity — authors, books, cinema, artists, ideas and creative experiences
- Wellness & Intuitive Arts — mindfulness, reflective practices, intuition and experiences that deepen our understanding of ourselves
- Personal Adventures — experiences that challenged, surprised or transformed you
- Sustainable Living & Travel — responsible tourism, communities, environment and conscious ways of living and exploring
We’re looking for stories rather than lists, a far more memorable story than a conventional “10 things to do” article.
We’re interested in perspectives rather than prescriptions. We want thoughtful voices that bring curiosity, experience and a fresh lens to the subjects they explore.
You Don’t Have to Be a Writer
Perhaps you’ve had an extraordinary experience but don’t know how to turn it into an article.
That’s where our editorial experience comes in.
Tell us what happened. We can help you find the story, shape the narrative, organise your material and polish the writing while retaining your voice and experience.
You can send us a rough draft, notes, photographs or simply an outline of what happened.
What We Offer
Guest contributions to Queen of Treasures are unpaid.
However, selected stories receive an editorial home on Queen of Treasures and may be shared with our audience across our social media platforms.
We also offer editorial guidance and writing support to help transform a memorable experience into a compelling story.
Our aim is simple: to give good stories a wider life.
What Makes a Story Right for Queen of Treasures?
We look for stories that offer at least one of these:
A remarkable experience.
Something you did, saw or lived that most people haven’t.
A fresh perspective.
A familiar destination, subject or experience seen in an unexpected way.
A strong sense of place.
Details, photographs, sounds, people and moments that transport the reader.
A human story.
Something that reveals curiosity, courage, connection, transformation or discovery.
A story worth remembering.
Perhaps the simplest test of all: when you finish telling it, does someone else want to hear it?
How to Share Your Story
Send us:
1. Your story idea
A short description of the experience you’d like to share.
2. A little about you
Tell us who you are and what you do.
3. Your photographs
If you have original photographs, we’d love to see them. Please mention the photographer and confirm that you have permission to share them.
4. Your draft, if you have one
Don’t worry if it isn’t polished. Rough notes are welcome too.
Your story could begin anywhere.
A forest trail.
A mountain village.
A crowded city street.
A forgotten monument.
A conversation with a stranger.
A book that changed something.
A moment when you looked at the world differently.
We’d love to hear it.
Send your idea to Queen of Treasures and let’s see where the story takes us.
